Friday night competition and Sunday training

Dear Hoops Connect Community,


Until further notice, our Friday night competition and Sunday training will be POSTPONED.


Hoops Connect management team will continue to update its members via our Facebook page and Website. This decision was not taken lightly and is based on advice from Federal/State Government, NSW Department of Health, Basketball NSW and Basketball Australia. 


The decision to POSTPONE is to reduce the chance of COVID-19 infections to our members and slow the potential transmission and community spread of the virus. 


On behalf of Hoops Connect Management and staff, I would like to thank you for your patience, support and understanding during this unprecedented situation and trust that we are all working together to minimise the spread of the virus so that we may all be back to playing the sport we love.

Friday night competition and Sunday training

 UPDATE

 Dear Hoops Connect community,


We would like to advise that our Friday night Basketball competition and Sunday training WILL STILL BE OCCURRING.

Management will continue to follow the Federal/State Government and NSW Health's updated medical COVID-19 advice to adhere to keeping events to under 100 participants.

We do make the following recommendations for Friday night and Sunday training. -Players feeling unwell shouldn't attend -Players only to attend (no spectators) -Players to have one (1) parent/guardian to attend the match -Participants not to shake hands before, during and after matches -All high risk groups to self-isolate and remain at home -Players feeling unwell to stay home and seek medical advice immediately -Utilise hand sanitisers made available from the front desk and on the scorers table.

In addition, due to COVID-19 Michael Clarke Recreation Centre has temporarily changed their opening and closing hours for Friday and Sunday. Games and training times are as follows:
